Indeed.
Grateful that assessment is over. God, just how grateful I am for this is quite, quite unfathomable. No more til next term now - plenty of time to recover!
Grateful for all the things that got me through these last few weeks, my lovely friends and some affirmations and a lot of sugar and caffeine. Now, all is over and done. Pleasing :)
I've also been grateful for pretty sunsets, a foal named Elsie, a marvellous weekend of filming, my first official Maize Queen duty handing out prizes at the bowls club and a visit from my cousin, amongst other things.
Sleep well, all.
Love.

Oh Noes.
A warning; there will be no more blogs now until Friday, as this week may just prove to be the most hectic of my life, with two Biology exams, a Math and Chemistry block exam, a eulogy and a 30-minute seminar to deliver. I hope that everyone's week goes well!Grateful, over the last week or so, it must be, for the generosity and kindness of the people I'm surrounded by. Mum's wonderful quilting ladies bought me the keyring shown in today's picture and wrote a lovely card, to congratulate me on becoming Maize Queen, and Mrs Baylis, my grandmother's ex-neighbour, sent me a purse with a note that said;
Elise,
I bought this in Vietnam to take out at night, but now when I go out at night I need a bigger bag to hold my glasses.
I hoped you might like to take it to Uni & hopefully enjoy having it there. As I remember, there were lots of going-out at night times, especially before Commem.
Congratulations on what you have already achieved & on what I know you will achieve in the future.
All good wishes,
Denise Baylis
I felt very privileged indeed.
Also grateful for a decent mark in Biology and as always, for my gorgeous friends. You know who the real ones are when they understand that you're just stressed, not constantly angry :P
Study awaits - too much of it. See you on Friday, if we all survive the week.
